Beholding the knowledge of God in Christ Jesus is both the foundation of salvation and the way of transformation. We enter into saving faith when the revelation of Christ—who He is and what He has done—strikes our hearts by the work of the Holy Spirit. We continue in sanctifying grace as the revelation of Christ softens our hearts, conforms our wills, and renews our minds. -Allen Hood
