King David's question, "Why do the nations rage and plot a vain thing?" is one of the most critical questions in the whole of scripture. We can neither dismiss nor diminish the true capacity of humanity in rage and rebellion nor ignore the "mystery of iniquity" (Thessalonians 2:7). -David Sliker
