Isaiah: "For the Lord has a Day of vengeance...for the cause of Zion." David: "The righteous will rejoice when he sees the vengeance." There will be an eschatological tipping point of reprobation where love for our persecutors gives way to joy in the Lord's vengeance against them.  - Gabe Cali
