Above all else, authentic eschatological hope will produce perseverance among the saints, both Jew and Gentile. The sacrificial death of the Messiah secures this eschatological hope, and the Spirit of the Messiah guarantees it: “Through him we have also obtained access by faith into this grace in which we stand, and we rejoice in hope of the glory of God” (Rom. 5:2) - John P.
