The sad thing about replacement theology is that if you wash out the nation of Israel from the ongoing redemptive storyline, which requires you to insert the Church into every Old Testament prophecy through a spiritualized fulfillment scheme, you just miss out on so much of the glory and beauty of what Jesus will do when he returns. -Travis M.
