The Church is called to persevere in their calling to worship God and believe in his appointed Messiah, sanctify themselves in preparation for his Kingdom, and testify to all nations of the judgment and restoration of that Kingdom. The Church is thus a sojourning nation witnessing to all the nations that the Day of the Lord is coming and Jesus is the Messiah. The Church is not a dominionizing nation, establishing the sovereignty of God, or an escapist nation, avoiding contact with this world, before the annihilation of creation.
